......teaching the craft of photography
At exposure36 Photography we photograph the world from a landscape/nature/macro perspective. Throughout our 10-year history we have emphasized two important goals--to create images that demonstrate the beauty of our world, and to educate people so they can create their own vision.
Why should you attend an exposure36 Photography workshop?
.*The workshop leader’s time is devoted to helping the participants create memorable images and improve their photographic skills. He doesn’t devote all his time to personal photography and the creation of his own portfolio.
.*We specialize in DSLR cameras made by BOTH Nikon and Canon. Other photography workshops can tell you how the workshop leader’s camera operates; at an exposure36 photography workshops understanding how YOUR camera operates allows your creativity to expand.
.*Our workshops are generally limited to 8 participants to ensure more personal contact.
.*Through basic and intermediate photography classes taught at the University of Washington, we can interact with both beginning and advanced photographers using non-technical language.
exposure36 Photography uses photography workshops, classes, CDs, etc., to teach the craft of photography--having the camera and photographer working together to create memorable images. We believe that everything is a once-in-a lifetime experience. Our goal as photographers is to capture that experience!
Please use the "programs" menu link at the top of this page to view our educational programs, such as photography workshops, classes, home study CD courses, published articles, and private training sessions.

I would like to thank everyone who made donations to exposure36’s fund raising drive to aid Guatemalans who had their lives turned upside down by the dual affects of the Pacaya volcano eruption and tropical storm Agatha.
Through everyone’s generous donations, we were able to raise over $33,500 Quetzals (local currency). This money is being used to provide basic living necessities and materials to rebuild houses that were washed away during the floods.
